Alyssa started dancing at the age of 4 and immediately fell in love with it. While growing up, Alyssa trained at Keely Jardell school of Dance in Nederland, Texas in styles of ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. She began competitive dance at the age of 10, and loved everything about it. As a competitive dancer, Alyssa has received many overall placements, awards, and scholarships. During her senior year of high school, Alyssa accepted into AMDA LA's dance program and Mather Dance Company's Bridge into the Industry program. Upon graduating high school, Alyssa decided to join MDM's Bridge into the Industry program in Southern California for a month in 2018. There she learned from some of the most sought after teachers and choreographers such as Shannon Mather, Ashley Gonzales, Brittany Markle, and more. During that time, Alyssa trained in ballet, contemporary, improv/partnering, hip hop, jazz, and musical theatre. After moving back to Texas, Alyssa decided to focus on choreographing and teaching dance. Alyssa has been choreographing since the age of 15 and has found a deep love for it.
Alyssa is so excited to share her passion and love of the art of dance with the dancers at NB Dance & Company.
Addie started dancing when she was six and then began her competitive dance journey at the age of eight. Addie was a member of multiple dance companies in the Leander/Cedar Park area where she got the opportunity to train under Lauren Caffey, Evan Anderson and Eva Coomer. They helped shape Addie into the dancer that she is today. Addie was able to work with many guest choreographers that were brought into the studio for advanced training, such as Elena Giannuzzi, David Bagley, Alexander Chung and Harry Feril.
She has competed at countless competitions and conventions and received many awards and scholarships. She has attended Ballet Austin Summer Intensive, attended and competed at YAGP and trained at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles.
In 2018, Addie moved to New Braunfels where she joined NB Dance and Company. During the summer of 2019, she was given the opportunity to share her love of stretching to achieve maximum flexibility by teaching Stretch and Flex at the studio. She enjoys helping others to improve their flexibility and strengthen their bodies so they can further develop their technique.
Due to rigorous dance training, Addie started homeschooling in seventh grade. She graduated in May of 2020 and has continued her dance training. Addie loves to share her choreography with other dancers through teaching! Addie is also attending college right now in hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. Her goal is to be able to apply the knowledge she gains through physical therapy education and use it to help dancers as she works in the physical therapy field.
