You have been searching and searching for a fun place to provide quality dance instruction, and we are glad you've found us! Now, here is what you need to know about NB Dance & Company. Dedicated to bringing cutting edge dance style and techniques to New Braunfels, we aim to provide an exciting atmosphere where every dancer can truly "feel like a star". NB Dance is a welcoming, non-pretentious environment, but we are serious about dancing!

Kristina Weinman is the owner and director of NB Dance & Company, an accomplished teacher and choreographer with over two decades of teaching experience. She specializes in lyrical, contemporary, and jazz technique. Kristina is a graduate of Texas State University with a bachelor's degree in dance and a minor in business, and holds a master's degree in dance education from Texas Women's University where her research centered on developing holistic and student-centered practices for use in dance studios. 

Kristina has been contracted as a choreographer and master class teacher for dance programs and teams across Texas and choreographed/coached the nationally ranked University of Texas Dance Team. Kristina provides professional development for public school dance teachers and also serves as an adjudicator for Showbiz National Dance Competition, PrimeTime Dance, and Crowdpleasers. 

Some of Kristina's students have gone on to dance collegiately at BYU Dance, Texas State, Kilgore College Rangerettes, Blinn College Treasures, the University of Texas Dance Team, UT Pom, Baylor Songleaders, and Sam Houston State University's Orange Pride.

Kristina has one daughter, Emory, who shares her love for dance. In 2013, Kristina opened NB Dance & Company in her hometown of NEW BRAUNFELS,  TX. She is thrilled to be able to share her passion for dance education with the children in her community and prides herself on creating a warm environment where dancers are free to explore and express.

Peyton Winter

Peyton started her journey of dance at the age of 2. She trained at Dance Unlimited in Buda, TX for five years. In 2005 she began dancing at Brooke Lowden's School of Dance where she trained under the direction of Brooke Lowden and Kristina Weinman. She quickly realized her passion for dance and joined their competitive team. Peyton also attended Jack C. Hays High school in Buda, TX where she competed and performed with the Hays Highsteppers for four years. When NB Dance & Company opened in August of 2013, Peyton and 3 other dancers followed Kristina to New Braunfels from Kyle to be the first Company members at Kristina's new studio. Outside of her studio training she also attended numerous dance conventions to further her knowledge in dance. Peyton graduated in 2014 and studied Cosmetology. Peyton then returned to the studio in August of 2016 where she leads all day to day operations as well as teaching younger students. Peyton's passion is teaching young dancers fun and sassy jazz as well as the importance of technique.Peyton cannot wait to share her love of dance and laughs with her dancers.

Kamarie Fernandes

Kamarie Fernandes grew up dancing in Aurora, Colorado studying ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and modern for most of her younger years.

Kamarie was accepted to BYU in and was given a scholarship for the dance program as an incoming freshman. She performed and choreographed for the BYU Dance Company, DancEnsemble. While on DancEnsemble she was invited  to study and perform with the Martha Graham Dance Company for their 2011 tour performance to BYU. After which she was given a scholarship to go to New York and study at the Martha Graham School of Dance. That summer Kamarie and her husband moved to New York and she received training from top professionals in the industry.

Kamarie graduated from BYU with a degree in Dance Education with an emphasis in Contemporary Dance and a minor in Theatre Arts. Immediately after graduating, Kamarie was offered the position of Dance Director at Spanish Fork High School in Spanish Fork, Utah.  She was able to take her companies to various workshops, conventions and competitions. Kamarie was also the choreographer for the school musicals which included Kiss Me Kate, Into the Woods, The Drowsy Chaperone, and she choreographed for the Utah Shakespeare Festival and Competition which won awards and honors both years she was able to participate.

While Kamarie was teaching she was also performing and choreographing for the professional company, Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company. She spent two seasons with the company before she took time to grow her family.

She moved to New Braunfels, TX where she was able to teach at NB Dance & CO for a season before moving back to Utah.

While back in Utah she was offered a position as an adjunct professor in the BYU dance department and a company director and instructor at Utah Conservatory of Performing Arts. 

She is finally back in New Braunfels at NB Dance & CO where it feels like home!

Addie Hardin

Addie started dancing when she was six and then began her competitive dance journey at the age of eight. Addie was a member of multiple dance companies in the Leander/Cedar Park area where she got the opportunity to train under Lauren Caffey, Evan Anderson and Eva Coomer. They helped shape Addie into the dancer that she is today. Addie was able to work with many guest choreographers that were brought into the studio for advanced training, such as Elena Giannuzzi, David Bagley, Alexander Chung and Harry Feril.

She has competed at countless competitions and conventions and received many awards and scholarships. She has attended Ballet Austin Summer Intensive, attended and competed at YAGP and trained at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles.

In 2018, Addie moved to New Braunfels where she joined NB Dance and Company. During the summer of 2019, she was given the opportunity to share her love of stretching to achieve maximum flexibility by teaching Stretch and Flex at the studio. She enjoys helping others to improve their flexibility and strengthen their bodies so they can further develop their technique.

Due to rigorous dance training, Addie started homeschooling in seventh grade. She graduated in May of 2020 and has continued her dance training. Addie loves to share her choreography with other dancers through teaching! Addie is also attending college right now in hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. Her goal is to be able to apply the knowledge she gains through physical therapy education and use it to help dancers as she works in the physical therapy field.
